When I click on a link in Outlook, the trip to the internet is excruciatingly slow. Much slower than if I just go to the internet. Are there any settings I might change?

Antivirus software that scans email could slow down opening your links.

Is Internet Explorer your default browser? Microsoft likes to use its 'own' products.

If none of the above is the culprit, reply with the version of IE you are using.
