In Outlook 2010 I have changed the Root Folder Path for my Gmail account to [Gmail]. This tidies up the display in Outlook
Because I have sub folders in my Outlook inbox I have changed Label name of the folders in Gmail like this:[gmail]/INBOX/Accounts. The subfolder Accounts should now be displayed as a sub folder to the inbox folder - even though Gmail does not work with sub folders. Outlook is now struggling to sync my emails. The process is taking forever! no error occurs. Why is this? |

I don't know if my experience relates to yours, but...
With OL '07 and a Gmail IMAP account, although the sub folders (>100) are fully sync'd, the lower right Send/Receive status never seems to get past ~80%. Mark |
