Default message rules not working right

i have set up rules to redirect incoming mail to a folder on arrival from a person and it only redirects some of the e-mails but if you run the rule manually it moves the rest of the e-mails .all emails are from the same address so i can not understand why i have to run the rule separately

Hi,

Does your rule end with "and Stop processing more rules"? This action is needed to prevent any other rules from acting upon the message.

Do any other rules move messages into or out of that folder?

You can always take the somewhat drastic step of cleaning out all your rules. This link explains how to do it: http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/2161/...line_switches/

Hope this helps!
