Default Copying HTML into appointment notes

Outlook 2010 32 bit on a Win 7 64-bit.
When I copy my HTML delta ticket info inside the notes portion of the calendar item, when I open the calendar item again, it pauses says connecting to server and then displays the info.
Is this normal?

Can this area handle HTML? Should it be HTML?
Is this a known issue?
I noticed that the email that I copied it from comes up quickly without the "connecting to the server" message.

Any insight into this issue would be helpful.
