Running Outlook 2010 under XP I have today received two different error messages. One informed me that I had exceeded my Outlook.pst size and the other informed me that I was on the point of exceeding my Sent Folder size (10793 entries). I know that Outlook 2003 allows for larger files but cannot find how to do this using online Help. I've looked through a few hundred Forum entries but none dealt with this issue.
Please could someone point me in the right direction? Next question is: having sorted this problem and backed the new Outlook file up, do I have to do anything special if I want to load it onto another Windows 7 system which currently uses a "small" Outlook.pst file? All advice gratefully received. |

Ariley,
The first error received, see if the following articles helps resolve your issue. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/982577 The secondary error I have not encountered nor did i locate any documentation to help find a resolution. Since you have so many items within your sent items folder, you could simply export these items out, or simply delete them. Hope this helps. |
