Find deleted emails
Using Outlook 2010. Occassionally I accidently delete an email, which can the be very hard to find in my large amount of deleted emails as there appears to be no way to sort emails by date of deletion. (I may not know the sender or subject or content of the email to search for it as I may have clicked on it by mistake without seeing this part). Is there a way to sort by date of deletion to find an email that was accidently deleted for which you have no other info?

Hi,
Yes , you can do it ! First try to change your view settings in the deleted items view by adding the “Modified” field to your deleted items view (which will be the deleted date). This is a one-time setup unless you decide to change the view settings again. Follow these steps for outlook 2010

Thanks so much. Your instructions were very clear and it works great. Really appreciate it! Wish I could by you a beer (or non-alcoholic beverage if you prefer)!
