Default Outlook Calendar Issues

Hey,
We've had some issue at my work with outlook's calendar we love it but find it's to easily to accidently move a calendar date.
My goal is to make it take more deliberate effort. Either by making it so that they can only be moved by going into the object and altering the date then saving it, or by having some kind of confirmation every time you move it.
While it getting moved accidently is a very rare event it could have disastrous consequences.
Thank you all for your time.
