Working on outlook when exchange server connection is offline
Hi,
I am using outlook 2010 in Windows-7 64-bit. I have configured about 5 pop accounts (each having its own separate PST file). I also have a separate account configured to connect to an exchange server mailbox login. I have ensured that my default account and data (*.pst) file is one of the five pop accounts (and not the exchange account or data file). Following are the problems that I am facing - 1. When the exchange server is down, I cannot send mail from any pop accounts that I have. The error says that I have to be online on the exchange server to send the mail. 2. When the exchange server is down, I am not able to add/change/edit any rules applied. The error here too says that I have to be online on the server to complete the operation. What could be the problem here? Thanking in anticipation. PK-AVI |
