Hello,
I'm having trouble wiping all outlook files from my PC for a clean reinstall. When I go to the search field in Windows 7 64bit and search for files containing 'outlook', there are no files anywhere that contain that word. All of the PST files are gone. I just want to reinstall Office 2010 and start up a new email account in Outlook. At the moment, when I reinstall it, it asks me to locate my old PST file which is now deleted. Please help! Thanks. |

Download advanced system care and use their uninstall tool called "iobit uninstaller". It has a powerful scan (you must select this after the regular uninstall) that will search the registry and delete any remnants. It looks like you already tried to remove it though, in which case you may need to approach this differently. Why are you trying to delete outlook to start a new account. You can delete your old account from the file>info>account settings menu. If you are deleting an older version of office and upgrading to 2010 then that is another issue altogether.
