Default Outlook Email Account Issue

I'm hoping you can help me as I couldn't find anything in the Online Instructional Video.
I've recently installed Outlook 2010 and imported all my Outlook Data Files from my previous.
The problem now though is that Outlook has somehow created to seperate accounts.
One that says paulbrownap63@gmail.com.
It contains the following folders:
Inbox
Gmail (Which doesn't function at all and Outlook won't allow me to delete this folder for some reason)
Junk E-mail
Reciepts
Search Folders
Travel

Work
This would be ok but below that I also have the account Outlook Data Files which contains another Inbox that houses all my sub folders with the rules I've created.

But it also has a Deleted Items bin wich the Gmail, com Account does NOT as well as my Yousendt Outbox and RSS feed Folder.

I really would like to be able to merge both of these accounts into just one account so I'm not having to look at two InBoxes.

I'm afraid though that if I just delete either account, Outlook 2010 won't function properly.
