Big problem, if anyone can help.
I just transferred the pst files from one user account on winxp to another user account. All the old emails got in, but then I realized the send / receive button was missing, the file menu's send/receive was missing, and outlook is not sending and receiving on its own either. big problem. anyone? (outlook 2000, winxp) |

You can reinstall the msoffice, or use the repair option avilalable in Msoffice Installation Cd. It can restore missing shortcuts

gooduser1,
Send/Receive button being grayed out can also mean that you are over quota if you are using a service for email, or that your Outlook profile is corrupted (which can also be caused by a lot of email). Do you recall the send/receive button being grayed out before you imported the old email? Reconfiguring a new profile in Outlook could solve your error. You can toggle between the new profile and this profile if you need to compare. Hope this helps. ![]() Masta7Mail ![]() Seamlessly connected via hosted Exchange with http://www.themessagecenter.com |
