Can't assess messages
My inbox shows that I have 1287 messages, but when I go to my inbox there are no where near that many messages. Also there are only old emails from last week, when there was some from months ago that I hadn't deleted. And one last problem, in the unread folder, it says messages are in the inbox but they aren't, they either aren't there or they are in another folder. Has anyone else had this problem and/or knows how to fix it? (sorry can't spell today, I meant access the messages!) Last edited by autosound; 01-30-2009 at 01:53 PM. |

Did you look in your spam folder? Perhaps it's included spam messages that are unopened, in a separate folder.

Does the Unread mail folder say what folder they are in? (click on Arrange
by above the message list and choose Folder to group messages by folder) If it says Inbox, then a view is hiding them. Click on Arrange by and choose Date. If you still can't see them, right click on the toolbar area and choose Advanced. What view is listed in the Current View selector? Select Messages - if you still can't see the messages, click on Arrange By again and choose Custom, then Reset. If it says another folder, then a Rule is moving them - go to Tools, Rules Wizard and figure out the errant rule. happily with The Message Center Exchange Hosting |
