Is it possible in Outlook 2007 (or another version) to set the format of a display name for an email that is received from an email account that is in your contacts.
If I have Joe Smith (jsmith @ abc .com) as a contact & I receive emails from him, some are shown as Joe Smith and others as Smith, Joe in the from field. I believe this maybe because the sender has 2 different places the messages are sent from & the friendly name is set differently in each. Can I have Outlook correct this using my contact list as a sort of look-up table? I have already searched around & think this is not possible but wanted a definitive answer. Thanks Andy |
