Ive a notes field in my contacts form that is behaving strangely.
It was working fine in the past, and I'm not sure after which amendments to the form did the bug creep in. When a new contact is created with the form and saved for the 1st time, text entered into the notes field message box is not retained. It is simply not there when I reopen the contact. It only works properly after keying it in for the 2nd and subsequent times. Another strange symptom is that the font for the message box is shown as "Consolas, 10.5", although my font for the normal style is "times new roman", and that the custom form is published with Times new roman configured for the message box. When I see Consolas, I know that the text I type into the notes field will not be saved. When I reopen the contact, the text is not there and the font at the cursor is Times New Roman instead of Consolas. This is driving me nuts. Any ideas? I've tried deleting the notes field message box and replacing it with a new one, copying over the fields into a new form etc. Nothing I've tried worked. Thanks, Jay |
