Default How do I know when mail is filtered

Here's what I'm dealing with (I think). I've created filters (I guess with Outlook they're called Rules) for certain mail to go to a particular directory.

When that mail does come in and is put into that directory, is there something that is going to inform me when it does and what directory (folder) it is in?

By default (unless you changed it), you will still get the standard new message notification and you will also see a unread message count next to the folder of where the item was placed.

Thanks for the reply. My directory tree is quite long, so meaning if a message is filtered to the last one down on that tree, I do not see it unless I scroll down manually.
I thought Outlook might just show that particular directory automatically. :-)
