I have a small business and use Outlook 2007 for my email. My laptop that has my Outlook on it is dead. I went to my website host to try to get my email from there, but was only able to go back about a week. I need to pull info from my email from about a year ago, but cannot get to it. The web host tech support person said that if I:
"disabled "Leave a copy of messages on the server" in Outlook, then the email messages that were downloaded/popped to your Outlook previously would be removed right away on the mail server and so you cannot access to those email messages via webmail at all as they have been removed on the mail server." She said that they (Doteasy) couldn't do anything and I should ask Outlook for support. Question 1: is there ANY way to go back and get older messages? Question 2: If I did disable the "leave a copy..." is there anyway to undo that or set it up differently if I can't get into Outlook at all? In case it's important, the computer was using Vista (yuk) and MS 2007. Thank you for your help :-) Amy |
