RESOLVED:

I had a similar issue recently. To resolve it I created a new Outlook profile (Control Panel - Mail), and created a new e-mail account using the old settings. Then I imported items one at a time, letting Outlook sit for a few minutes after each import - e.g. Import the Inbox only, shut down and restart Outlook, and let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes. Everything went well until I got to the Calendar. Within 60 seconds of importing the calendar, Outlook started crashing again. Luckily I had a duplicate calendar in Outlook on my laptop, and it was not crashing. So I deleted the new profile and started importing everything again, except the calendar, which I imported from the laptop. Everything has been working perfectly since then.

Hope this helps.
