Hello,
For years, we've used a template in OneNote that has a macro-enabled Excel doc in it. Now, one of our computers was just updated and when we open the file it opens in protected mode. We have double checked all of our trust settings in Excel, which are set to allow macros. I have tried tons of things, but cannot get around it. Because we can't mark it as safe by right click the file in OneNote (like you can on a desktop), there's no way for us to run the workbook. Side note: if you move the file to the desktop and double click it, it runs fine. Move it back and open it and it opens in safe mode. Please help!!! |

The only workaround I’ve found is to stop updates and roll back to the previous version. It’s fairly painless to do, but obviously limits future updates.

No, just Microsoft office. Not windows. If you have trouble I’ll find the link and post it later when I’m back at my office.
