Default How do I split a large txt file into multiple files

Good afternoon

I am in need of assistance and was hoping someone would be able to provide it. I have a .txt file that is 923,450,939 kb with 1,537,045,275 rows. I would like to break that file down to multiple, smaller files. I searched online for a program that would allow me to do that and found one that works with Window but my data is HIPPA protected and didn't want to download a dangerous program onto my laptop.

Thanks
