Default Document archive - best practice

Hi,

I'm looking for recommendations / best practices of archiving documents (invoices, contracts, ..) in OneNote.

At the moment I'm aware of the following possibilities:
  1. OfficeLens: shoot via mobile and send directly to Onenote
  2. Use installed printer "send to OneNote"
  3. Drag&Drop existing PDF to OneNote

What do you recommend?
First & second alternatives have the advantage that the documents are saved as pictures in OneNote and are searchable (OCR).
The disadvantage in my opinion is, that you can't easily use the documents again as a PDF to send it to somebody else for example.

Last alternative the document ist not searchable. But you have a PDF file ready whenever you want to send it to somebody or OneNote is not longer existing :-)

Glad for any comments

Best Regards
Bibabuzemann
