Hi Guys & Gals,
I am using One Note on Windows 10 to apply my alt text to my product images for my image SEO. When I add the keywords/data in the Title and Alt text fields and export the image. When I import the image to One Note again to check that it has indeed saved the alt text that I have input, both fields are now empty as if I'd never input anything in the first place. Does anybody know what I am doing wrong here, please? Also, does anybody know of any better methods of adding alt text to an image in windows 10? I've added quite a few images to my site now with this message and am starting to worry that it is not saving the at text? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated ![]() |

Alt text isn't added to the image itself, it's added to whatever contains or surrounds the image—just like the image's filename isn't part of the graphic material. So it makes sense that each app will have their own way of adding metadata like alt text. If I understand what you're doing, you can save some work by adding the alt text in your website code, rather than in ON. Quote:
