One Note Online not transferring to One Note App
I am in a trucking department and I created a Notebook in One Note to share with the truck drivers. Essentially this is for when the truck drivers are in the field, they can access my notebook from their phone and get the schedule, scale numbers, or any other information that they need. I am sending them a link through OneNote, when they click the link, it opens internet explorer; they then click the option that says "Open with OneNote". This should then open their app and transfer my notebook to their phone app. Most of the time it works smoothly but I have a few that aren't working. When they hit the "Open with OneNote" button it opens the app like normal and then it brings up an error saying, "Sorry, we couldn't open the notes that you were looking for. They may have been moved or deleted, or you may not have permission to open them." I have never moved or deleted the notes and if they didn't have permission they wouldn't be able to access it on OneNote Online. On my end it says that they have access and permission to view the notebook. I have tried sending the link from my phone and my computer and they both do not work. I think users getting this error have android phones. After talking with Microsoft, they said that OneNote should be universal and work for IPhone or Android.
Please let me know if you have ideas on how to trouble shoot/fix this problem. Thanks. Jaden |
