Unhappy Self Created OneNote page drops words when printing

I have used the One Note product for many years. Recently (could be when I started using windows 10), I have noticed that printed pages are missing words that would appear to be from the right hand margin area. I have attempted adjusting the RH margin with no positive results. I have OneNote 2010 32bit software under windows 10. I maintain the software to the up to date level.

I have read many forum entries that had suggestions but none seem to help. All works well if I just want to maintain and display the created Notebooks and pages. the ability of printed pages for portability is yet another matter. Does anyone know if this is a resolvable problem?

Did you ever manage to solve this

I am suffering also with 2010 and 2016 desktop versions

I think it might have started happening after the creators update

It happens on multiple machines and printers so ?

It also happens within cells in tables and it is always characters to the right

Is no-one else suffering

Default Current Status

I have had no replies or suggestions. MS is moving forward and forgetting to support what it has created so I am moving forward as well (no relief).

Thanks for replying

I have been doing some looking into this - I am having a passive semi work day at home and not printing right is causing problems for us

We use 2010 but I have been playing with the free and nobbled 2016 desktop - nobbled because you can only have notebooks online - unless you have office 365 option when you can have local and networked notebooks
(2016 free did not used to be like that but it is now)

And also the windows 10 version - (pure pants IMHO)

The last time I looked - and I was a bit casual about it - I was getting the error on 2010 and 2016

Now after my first look 2016 and windows 10 versions are fixed but not 2010

Because they have the same onenote format - I can have the exact same page on 2010 and 2016

Print out from 2010 is still wrong but 2016 is right

I could do with a deeper test - more lines of text - because it was always a bit random when it did and did not work - but i thought I would feedback quickly because you replied

What I do is copy and paste this - see below - over a few lines - but I probably need to do it over a page to be confident in 2016
(That does not solve my problem though because we need local files due to speed when the onenote files are online and the "excessive" use we make of onenote and with plenty of screen cuts so bulky uploads when they go to the cloud - plus it is still iffy in comparison to local - I think this is due to the synch speeds though)

Okay I have done that bigger test on nobbled 2016 and a full page of chances to print wrong did not throw up an error once

Whereas the same page in 2010 about every third line is losing characters

I am not sure what governs these things - surely it has to be some rendering engine driver within onenote

The problem occurs when the page size is set to auto which is what we need

If I change it to A4 - this is for the display within onenote - it does not have to be a full screen of white space - then it seems to cope but that destroys the way we use onenote and so is not a solution
