Upgrading from Trial Version - don't want to lose notebooks!
Hey all
I have a friend with a Microsoft Surface laptop who, for some reason, has a trial version of OneNote installed. The trial license has now expired, and he wants to get OneNote back working. The most recent workbook is active everytime we open up NoteBook, but I cannot see where it is saved, nor can I backup / export it. I can see backups of the previous workbooks pre-the trial period ending. When we try to upgrade through the OneNote UI, it only gives the option for a full (paid) MS Office installation. My question is - if we upgrade to OneNote 2016 through onenote.com, will we still be able to access the latest workbook? Thank you very much in advance, as this is driving us nuts! |
