I want a tutorial on what directories/files OneNote 2010/13 and Office 365 create
I can't figure out where my 2013 notebook is and how I get it to open in Office 365.
I bought OneNote 2010, upgraded to 2013. This was a solo MS product that I thought I was confining to my PC. No cloud stuff. I have Windows backups for my PC user accounts. Thought I was well covered there. I got one of those hostage attacks that totally wiped out my internal hard drive. I had to buy a new one. My OS image was restored. I have to reload all my software. To add complication I was in the midst of dumping Thunderbird and trying to get Outlook set up. Instead of buying the single Outlook program I went for the Office 365 subscription. I think that was a big mistake but I'm willing to try to figure it out. I got Outlook set up and working. Moving on to OneNote, the notebook created in 2010/13 will not open in 365. I don't even know what file to open. I've worked with PC's since the DOS days. I was an Office superuser, now retired and not too interested in all this new cloud stuff. I think I need pictures (flow chart?). Here's what I want to know:
I'm using a Windows 7 Professional system. Thanks, Jude |
