Default My scanned page is showing with gaps.

OneNote is working reasonable well and much better than the OCR I used ten years ago or so but although it is reasonable clear and reasonably clear of spelling errors the way it shows itself after opening up is as shown below. At least a one line space between lines and one and a half lines being shown at a time. Could anyone please let me know what I need to do to correct this?

all such matters in society, with the implication that it was not necessary to study this

If the output is in (or can be exported to) Word, see: https://www.msofficeforums.com/word/...s-e-mails.html

Many thanks for that. Surely, the scan should present itself in editable form?

The output is editable. It's just not especially user-friendly until some post-processing is done. Given how disparate a range of material might be processed through a scanner - and the varying quality of scans themselves, it is understandable that the software doesn't get creative with doing a cleanup.

Even for you document, which I haven't seen, you might have needed to insert paragraph breaks between the logical paragraphs before running the macro; otherwise you'd risk having all the paragraphs joined together is one large mass, losing the desired paragraph breaks that might have been apparent to you but which the code can't 'see'.

The first page that I scanned was perfect before I got in a mess and was unable to get it to run wherein I uninstalled and then reinstalled.

Is there anything to be gained from installing OneNote 2016?
