Experienced User: New issue (&old) - randomized deleting of handwritten content & other issues
I am a student and I've been using Onenote in conjunction with the surface pro since the 1st generation surface pro came out. I am now using the surface pro 3.
The issue I'm experiencing is that, at random, parts of handwritten text or drawings will disappear permanently. It happens to text that isn't even highlighted or even close to where new ink is being applied. I have no idea why it is happening, but it seems to have started as soon as I upgraded to windows 10. On top of this new problem with ink randomly disappearing, I have been having longtime issues with syncing of recordings. Just minutes ago I was listening to an audio recording and all of a sudden, after editing text while listening, the audio stopped and is no longer accessible. This problem seems to be related to a syncing problem. The final problem is that I can't restart onenote without it "cleaning up from last time" it happens every single time I restart onenote. I'm tired of onenote screwing things up. I thought maybe the 2016 version would address some of these issues, but apparently not. I used to think onenote was the best thing for note-taking, but its starting to be an inconsistent help that is becoming more burdensome than help. If anyone can shed any light on any of the issues I brought up, please let me know. Last edited by emseahays; 10-10-2015 at 05:45 PM. |
