Default 1n 2013 desktop: section names

In 1 of my notebooks I created a section of which the name started with a capital letter. Afterwards I decided I wanted the whole section name in lower case letters so changed the capitals. However, 1N does not accept it & keeps putting the capitals back.

Any idea how to remedy this?
