I have OneNote 2013 that I use to take notes with using a wacom enabled windows 8 tablet. When I view the notes I write on my windows 8 laptop or windows 7 desktop, it seems that there's a chance that the notes will irreversibly shift. Again, the writings are done with a wacom pen, and when the writing shifts, only parts of it shift. It usually shifts notes upward ontop of other notes, making it impossible to fix.



Below is a picture of what it looks like. I export PDF's for a particular class as I take notes for students with disabilities. In these cases, I generally export the notes soon after I take them and upload them. The unaltered version is on the left. The altered version is on the right in which the notes were exported to PDF after I went back to review them and noticed they were messed up.

As you can see, only some of it is shifted and it seems quite arbitrary. Both PDF's had the same page 1 and the image is of page 2. Does anyone know what could be the problem and what could fix this? The shifting has been generally minor before allowing the notes to be fixed, but this one was the most severe I've ever encountered.

Edit: Also please note that this happens to notes that I never export to PDFs as well. In these cases, my notes are rendered completely useless as I don't have a copy of what was there before.

Does this also happens when you export them to a Word page?

Hi themausman & thank you for your response. I think there may have been some misunderstanding.

The shifting of notes occurs IN onenote. The PDF with the shifted characters was exported after the onenote file got messed up inside onenote; I exported it just to show the comparison at the same page in a PDF.

Also, some pages get shifted in onenote even when I do not export them at all.

My bet i didn't read correctly. It sounds like a Wacom driver problem but that's just a hunge...
