Talking Table adjustment on Surface OneNote

Hello all,

I am using a Surface Pro 3 with Touch Pen.
I tried a few things with OneNote (Office 365/2013) now, and am quite happy, but I have a few questions:

-When I am using OneNote without a keyboard, just with the pen (handwriting), and want to create a table (like just a simple table, 2x4 rows/columns): Is it possible to resize the table? When I create one, it is such very small and can only be adjusted with a keyboard, but I want to write with my pen in it, and do not see a possibility to adjust it. (I do not need to calculate in it, just writing.)

-I want to print my notes later, so it is easier for me to create my notes in format A4. The problem is, every time I add a new page, I have to set up the format to A4 again and again. Any help?

-Are all these features from OneNote 365 available in the OneNote built-in app? I quite like the app, because it is very easy to use, but I can’t find any other features than handwriting in it.

Hope I’ll find some answers here.

Best regards

Hi,
You can resize the table by resizing the container first. Set the container very wide and then adjust the column widths.
For setting the page to A4 do the following: create a blak page and set it settings to A4. Then click insert page from the ribbon (insert tab). Click the little arrow below insert page and choose page template. Now from the taskpane have a look at the bottom where you will see the options create template from current page. Give it a name, something like A4Printing. If you check the checkbox which says use this template for all pages in this section you will get the same setup with every page you create.
There are some limitations between the client and the web app. The client offers more functionality than the app version.
