I am trying to move my OneNote's note file from my old Windows 7 SP 1 machine to a new Windows 8.1 Pro machine. I have had limited success. When I simply copy the file that was on my old machine and install it in my new machine, all the "notes" seem to be there - BUT...the Notebooks show up as Section Groups in one very large Notebook - not what I wanted to happen.
I am hoping that there is someone out there who has successfully moved OneNote files from one machine to another and that they are willing to share their adventures. Any insight that anyone would care share will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. WesternGuy ![]() |
