Won't synch - 0x80072EFF error
I recently cleaned up my laptop computer and inadvertently disabled WebClient Service. Then Onenote (2010) stopped synching. I have enabled WebClient, made sure it was running, rebooted computer, but OneNote still will not synch and I get an 0x80072EFF error. This is for all notebooks. I've Googled for solutions but none have been helpful. I can copy the URL from OneNote into a browser and view my notebooks on OneNote Online just fine. I wonder if there are other services that Onenote depends on that I may have shutdown?? Please help. Love Onenote and am lost without being able to synch. Thanks, Doug Edit: I should have mentioned that the Synch Status show "Not Connected" for each Notebook. |

Those are the worst and i feel your pain. What my tip would be in that situation is to create a new notebook and sync that to your new location. After you see that sync goes as expected than select all sections and 'copy' (right click and choose Move and Copy...) those to your new synced book. That's a one time hassle but would be faster then trying to figure out why it doesn't want to sync when you have done everything possible...

Once again I can't sync from my Windows OneNote to the OneNote Online version, and thus to my Android OneNote. I get the above error - 0x80072EFF, plus a 0xE4010641 error when trying to sync. I have a good internet connection. All my Notebooks show "not connected". But when I click on the Shared Notebook link, it opens up the online version. I really don't want to copy and create new notebooks. There has to be a better solution MS.
