Default Creating chronology

I created a section called chronology. I needed to enter 250 pages one for each year. They should be named 1650 1651 1652 .. 1898 1899 1900 in descending order.
I had to do this manually took me some 45 minutes. So it got me thinking that there has to be a smarter more efficient way to do this similar to Excel that automatically fills cells with numbers like that.

I'm open for suggestions for the next time I have to do something like this.
