Onenote 2013 does not convert handwriting to text
Dear all,
hopefully you had the same issue and know a solution: I have a surface pro 3 and I love it. It basically replaced all my paper notes. Unfortunately I cannot get the handwriting recognition to work: I write something and click the convert to text and nothing happens. I tried to select a text using the selection tool, but that didn't help. The convert to formula button works though. It recognizes my handwriting to draw a formula. Does anyone have an idea what the issue might be? I have an Office 2013 version installed. The regular one, not the 365. Thanks a lot. Without the recognition, I feel I only have the Surface Pro 2.5. Hi Mattes,
Wow i'm jealous :-) I have a surface 1 pro which works with handwriting. But... here it is it only recognizes English so i have to write English to get the text converted. I do not select anything only if i want to convert a specific container of handwriting. On the Surface make sure your keyboard settings are important for converting. Click your keyboard in OneNote (little icon in the taskbar) and then the button bottom right (has a little keyboard on it) choose the various options to see if that works. Other languages? I don't think so. |
