Hello,
I am using Office 2013 with OneNote on my PC and OneNote on a new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phone device. After entering considerable data on my pc and then syncing to my Note 3, all of the data transfers across quite well. The data stays there provided I don't lock the OneNote document on my PC. When I protect the OneNote document on my PC with a password, I lose all of the data on the Galaxy Note 3 OneNote app. If I remove the password, Remove, not unlock, then syncing replaces the lost data again. If I leave the PC OneNote unprotected and shut the machine down so that there is no connection, I don't lose any data on the Galaxy Note 3. How is this so? I'm a bit confused and I don't like leaving this data unprotected so I would welcome a way to lock it on the PC and also on the Galaxy Note 3 but I doubt that it's possible from what I've seen so far. Any constructive comments would be welcome please. ![]() |
