Default [onenote 2007] incremental number in a table

Hi all,

I created a table with several rows and columns. In the first column I need an incremental number so I can track the table rows. Is there a way for typing an automatic incremental number for each row? So far, I'm using a manual numbering but it's really time consuming to type the new number everytime.

Thanks
