Default Need help with placeholder text in ActiveX controls in Word

I am trying to develop a Word template (.dotx) with ActiveX controls. I have no trouble inserting the controls and linking them together with the Content Control Toolkit. I am having a big problem, however, with the placeholder text. In Design Mode, I can modify the placeholder text to make it say what I want. When I save the file, though, some of the fields change so that their placeholder text is the same as the placeholder text for other unrelated fields. Whatever I do, the text keeps changing whenever I save the file. It doesn't happen with all of the placeholder text entries - only certain ones - and as far as I can tell there's no rhyme or reason to which ones change. Has anyone else had this problem? I would really appreciate some help. Thank you!
