Hi
Click on the Home tab. Click on the little arrow on the Numbering button. Choose Define New Number Format. In the Number format box just enter an A before the number displayed there. Hope this helps. Good luck. Tony(OTPM) |

Thanks for your support.
Prior to this post I had already tried your recommendation (repeatedly) which works just fine from the standpoint of the line item initially changed, however, this change does not transcend to subsequent line items. These are steps I am using: 1) Create new line item using the line item having the correct numbering (i.e., A.1) as the source. (This is accomplished by "blocking" the A.1 line then using <copy> function--it copies as A.2) 2) Make the copied line into sub-level line (A.1.1 is the desired outcome) by a using "Increase Indent" (right) icon. This attempt does not give desired outcome, rather, the copied line is renumbered to: a. Any and all help greatly appreciated! GB |
