Default PDF engines for word and ppt

Hi,

Is there a quality deference between printing a word file as pdf and printing a ppt file as pdf? I use acrobat professional as the pdf converter. In otherowrds is there a output quality difference of the pdf file produced by word and power point?

Thanks

Default PDF Quality Differences?

Hi,

PDF will output the quality you set in the printing preferences section. You can set it to high or right down to 'Smallest File Size'. Just look at what you have it set for.

We usually have our reports set to smallest file size 'by default' as our report contain photographs (hi-res) that would blow the email size limit. We can come down from 12MB documents to about 1MB at this output selection.

Hope this helps.
