page jumps when scrolling
Sometimes when I hold down the Enter key to move a block of text to the next page, when it reaches the next page it jumps down to about the middle of the page. If I delete space above it to try to move it to the top of that page it jumps back up to the prior page, the one it was moved from. My only recourse is leave the second page totally blank and move the text to the third page. Then it will let me position it at the top of the page. What is going on? (I have Word 2000 - 9.0. Yes, it's old.) I have my answer after looking at all the settings. The drop-down to the left of FONTS should be "normal" instead of "HEADING 5". That fixed it.
