Good Morning Folk

Can you tell me please,, is it possible to buy 1 copy of MS Office, install it on 3 machines and buy 3 licences



or would it be better to buy 3 copies of Office

Hi James,

That depends on the context: business or home/student? What PC configuration? All in the one establishment?
That's because the licensing conditions vary in terms of how many and what kinds of PCs the suites can be installed on.

,, its Office 2010 Home & Student on 2 laptops and 1 pc at home,,, they are not networked

Hi Jim,

If you buy a retail copy (ie with the installation DVD) you can leagally install, activate, and use Office Home and Student 2010 on up to three PCs/laptops in a single household.

If you buy the Office Home and Student 2010 Product Key Card, you can only use it on one PC/laptop.
