Unhappy 2007 recent update screwed up view

Im not sure how it happened or if it was the recent updates that affected it or what. but i open microsoft office excel, or word or any program in office 2007 and the view is messed up. kind of looks like the classic view. all is functioning well, just seems a bit weird. i have windows vista

here is a photo of my screen.

It's in the Windows Control Panel, under Appearance and Personalization|Display > Adjust Resolution > Advanced Settings > Monitor > Colours. You should go for the highest colour depth supports (probably 32-bit True Color).

It was already set to 32 highest. anything else i could do to fix it?

You could try temporarily changing the Office colour scheme and/or the Windows desktop theme to something else. See:
