Question MS Access Problem

I have a database at work that uses multiple forms. All forms can be opened from a welcome form that auto opens whenthe database is loaded. One of the other forms that can be loaded displays information from 52 different queries on the one page, using a combo box of names on the welcome form for calculating the queries. When I then click the button to close this form (which just does DoCmd.close) I get asked for other parameter values to be enterd that are on the open form (not the welcome form). The problem is that this only occurs on some of the older systems in my worksite. I know it is not a security problem in relation to our network as the same user can be logged on to 2 different computers and get the request on one but not the other. This problem only occurs when I click the button that activate the DoCmd.close it does not happen if I click the X control buttion on the form to close it. Does anyone know if this is a design flaw or something to do with the computers people are using? Any help would be greatly appreciated. PS the 52 queries are recalculated by a macro that activates after update of one of the combo boxes on the form.
