Default Microsoft Office 2002

Hi, I purchased a Brand new Gateway computer in 2002. My hard drive crashed, and had to re-load the operating system. I lost the key code for Microsoft Office, and cannot re-load Office.



Can anyone help?

I called MS support. and after an hour an 15 minute phone call, I was told I had to purchase a new version of Office. I thought MS supported Office???
