Default how to display expired date in red (access)

Hi guys, first post here. Glad I found this forum.

Anyway, I would appreciate if someone could tell me how display an expired date in red? For example: if the dates in the date field are not equal to or greater than the date displayed, I would like the expired date to be displayed in red. Another example - 12/12/10 should be displayed in red and 12/12/11 should remain in the default colour black. #

I hope I haven't confused anyone.

If it's an Access question, please post it on the access forum.
