Hi Yozshura,

The Product Key on the laptop will be for Windows, not for Office. The copy of Office installed on your laptop is a Trial version, which means you will need to buy a retail copy. IIRC, your laptop should have an applet on it allowing you to register the Trial and upgrade it to the retail version.

Hello Macropod,

Thanks for ur help , i really appreciate it , but there is a thing i have to ask you..
The applet on my laptop belongs to Windows or Office ? I'm really confused !! You are saying there must be an applet under my laptop right ? Well when i enter it as a product key to upgrade it doesn't work :S
So what must i do ? and thanks

Hi Yozshura,

The applet is a small prgram that comes with the trial version of Office - it has nothing to do with your laptop, per se. The upgrade process is done via the internet.
