Yeah, this is actually a common limitation with the web version of Microsoft Teams. If you're using Teams in a browser, especially something like Safari or sometimes even Firefox, the option to insert images or files might not show up in the message box. It's not just you—it's a known quirk.
To get the full functionality like inserting pictures, files, or using advanced formatting, I’d highly recommend using the desktop app or the mobile app. They both give you the complete chat toolbar with all the options, including inserting images directly into the chat. I ran into the same thing when setting up a group chat from Chrome. Once I switched to the desktop app, everything was there and working fine. Give it a try and it should solve your issue. |
