I use Publisher.
Office 2021 will go EOL in October 2026. For some reason, Microsoft also decided not include Publisher in new versions of Office. I didn't know this before I bought and installed Office Pro Plus 2024 (this is the perpetual LTSC Volume Licensed version). I still have Office Pro Plus 2021 (LTSC, Volume Licensed). This version of Office Pro Plus DOES include Publisher. Both of these versions of Office are installed using the Office Deployment Tool (ODT). With Office 2024 installed, ODT will not permit the installation of Office 2021 or any component of it. Obviously, I could completely uninstall Office 2024, install Office 2021, and live with that. However, I would prefer to keep getting support for Office apps other than Publisher. My question: if I uninstall Office 2024 and install just Publisher from Office 2021, will I be able to then install Office 2024? |
