Default Spelling problem: disabled option

Hi. I have just installed MS Office Enterprize, registered it, and immediately discovered that in spell-checking, when I right-click a misspelled or unknown word, the option `Add to dictionary' is greyed out and disabled, although suggestions to correct this word are made all right. The situation has not changed after I installed Russian and French language packs. The PC has plenty of RAM and space on disks.
Can you advise me how to ungrey this option?
Vitaly

Make sure your custom dictionary language is set to "All languages:"

Microsoft Office button > Word Options > Proofing > Custom Dictionaries button
drop-down at the bottom of dialog box

Hi Kimberly. Alas, that was the setting I chose from the very beginning. Add to dictionary is disabled. I changed the custom.doc setting to English USA but it stayed disabled with a document in US English. Now I returned it to All languages. Is there a setting in Registry controlling this option?
In addition, I find the following files appearing in the same folder with custom.dic:
ExcludeDictionaryRU0419.lex
ExcludeDictionaryEN0809.lex
ExcludeDictionaryEN0409.lex
CMAdj.12.bin
Does this tell you anything? Not to me alas.
