Hello,
I upgraded to 2010 from 2007 and am having major Outlook sync issues specifically with my iPhone and CalDev (syncing corporate emails and the calendar). By major, I mean, IT'S NOT WORKING! My company does not yet support 2010 for the iPhone, only the BBerry using NotifyLink (no comment on NotifyLink, but it's one of many reasons I use an iPhone after 10 years of BBerry's). As much as I like Office 2010, I jumped the gun and it seems best to downgrade, but I am seeking opinions. 1. First and foremost, HOW do I downgrade 2010 to 2007? I have the disks and keys for 2010 and 2007, so is it as simple as saving my .PST's, etc., uninstalling and removing 2010 and reinstalling Office 2007, then manually adding my PST's? 2. Am I simply being too cautious not wanting to run Outlook 2007 as a single instance and keeping the advantages of PPT, Word and Excel 2010? My concerns are not only do I NOT keep Outook on the C: drive, (I always use the D: Partition for obvious reasons), but I do not duplicate this method for the rest of offfice and it's a VERY long story as to why. Is running Outlook 2007 partitioned to the D: with 2010 running on the system drive asking for trouble? 3. My other concern would be with using different activation codes for the 2010 Office Applications and a different one for Outlook 2007. However, I do with with 2003, then again, it's virtualized. YES, I am a novice at this stuff, so be kind. Thanks in advance. Dean |
